The Irrisonic E1 is a smooth non-cutting piezo tip designed specifically for passive ultrasonic irrigation. Used at low power (1–3 on most piezo units) in a canal flooded with NaOCl or EDTA, it produces acoustic streaming and cavitation that dramatically improve debris and smear-layer removal vs. passive needle irrigation.
