Wikiendo is a hosting service for user-generated content and is subject to the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, "DSA"). This page explains how notices are handled, what rights content authors have when their content is removed, and how to appeal.
Every review on Wikiendo includes a ⚠ Report button. Clicking it opens a form that captures:
Reports are reviewed by a human moderator (initially the Operator) and a decision is reached within 7 calendar days of submission. If the report is filed in good faith and includes sufficient detail, it provides the Operator with actual knowledge of the alleged content and triggers the assessment.
While a report is pending, the reported review is flagged — its body is replaced with a moderation notice, but its metadata (reviewer name, date, rating) remains visible to preserve transparency.
When a review is removed or restricted, the content author (if they provided an email address) receives a statement of reasons by email. The statement includes:
If your review was removed and you disagree, you have the right to an internal review within 6 months of the original decision. Submit an appeal at /legal/appeal.
Appeals are decided by a human reviewer (not the same person as the original decision). Decision is communicated within 14 calendar days.
If you are unsatisfied with the internal appeal, you have the right to submit the dispute to a certified out-of-court dispute-resolution body in your Member State. A current list is maintained by the European Commission and the national Digital Services Coordinator. In Italy, contact the Autorità per le garanzie nelle comunicazioni (AGCOM) for guidance. Dispute-resolution bodies are independent; their decisions are non-binding on the Operator but the Operator will engage in good faith.
Persistent submission of manifestly unfounded reports is prohibited. Accounts that abuse the reporting mechanism (e.g., filing coordinated reports against competitors' reviews) will be warned and may be suspended.
At this time, Wikiendo does not use automated content moderation, AI classification, or algorithmic ranking on user-contributed content. All review decisions are made by human moderators. If this changes, this page will be updated and affected users will be notified.
Annual transparency reports will be published on this page from 2027 onwards, covering:
