GuttaCore is Dentsply's carrier-based obturator where the carrier itself is cross-linked gutta-percha (as opposed to the plastic carrier of Thermafil). Heated in a dedicated oven (Therma-Prep) and seated to working length, GuttaCore obturators produce a dense 3D fill with retreatability advantages over rigid-carrier systems.
