The XP-endo Finisher uses MaxWire technology: the file is martensitic and nearly straight at room temperature, transforming to an austenitic phase and expanding at body temperature. The expansion lets the file contact irregularly shaped canal walls, isthmuses, and oval canals that instrumented shaping cannot reach. Used in the final cleaning phase with NaOCl.
