Reciproc Blue is VDW's evolution of the Reciproc system, using a proprietary heat treatment that produces a blue surface oxide layer. The files retain the S-shaped cross-section and can be pre-bent for access in molars.
- Dedicated reciprocating motor (VDW.Silver RECIPROC, VDW.Gold, or X-Smart IQ).
- Pre-curvable — useful when straight-line access is limited.
- Irrigation with NaOCl every 3 mm of file advancement.
- Single-use; discard after the procedure.
- Motor: VDW.Silver Reciproc, VDW.Gold Reciproc, or any reciprocating endo motor with a Reciproc preset
- Glide path: R-PILOT (or hand #10/.02)
- Paper points & GP: R25, R40, R50 matched
- Sealer: AH Plus, Total Fill BC Sealer
